Turn, turn, turn; a time of appreciation, giving and renewal

“To everything turn, turn, turn. There is a season…” There is a time for everything. The celebration of Christmas is a time for appreciation, giving and renewal.

“… a time to embrace…”

Appreciate all that we have. Although there are many around me who have more, I can’t help but think how truly blessed I am. A career with purpose, a loving family, and saving grace. An extensive survey by Gallup shows that employees expect to be shown appreciation/recognition once every 7 days. Seven days! Recognize and show people how you appreciate their efforts, their contributions, their support.

It’s a time of building up others through the joy of giving to friends, family and those less fortunate than us. Be generous to those in need. “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” ― Winston S. Churchill

“… a time to be born and a time to die...”

We must take stock of who we are, what we’ve done and how we can be better men and women. Be born again and discover your gifting: your strengths and passions. Rekindle your dreams: your ambitions and dreams.
